About Us

Touching Well's aim is to promote respectful and nurturing touch. I have been a complementary therapist since 1988.

Relax, treat yourself, feel fantastic: A Touching Well treatment will do just that. It is likely to help with pain or discomfort as well. I offer in therapeutic massage and Myofascial Release. I have done specialist training in Myofascial Release (MFR), NO HANDS massage, pre and post natal massage and lots of other bodywork modalities, for example Maya Abdominal Therapy and Aromatherapy.

I offer Manual Lymph Drainage pre- and post surgery and for the management of lymphoedema. This may include Deep Oscillation, Kinesio taping or compression.

I offer on-site massage for companies in Nottingham, which improves staff performance, lowers rates of absenteeism, increases productivity. With Touching Well's on-site massage service you can achieve all these benefits, and more.

My theory is that there are three groups with regard to massage:
* those that just know how good it is
* those that need convincing - the best way is to try
* and those that can't be convinced, not matter what.

I belong to the first group, so I find it quite difficult to put an argument forward in favour of massage, it is obvious that massage is good for you. I have weekly treatments myself! If you belong to the first or second group, I want to hear from you.
