About Us

I work with clients over zoom, and I am passionate about helping people deal with the effects of stress and trauma in their lives.

My priority in sessions is that you have an experience of feeling supported, safe, and accepted just as you are, and my focus is on using gentle and effective techniques to help you find and engage your inner resources towards the wellbeing, safety and goodness you need to thrive. It might be that those inner resources don't seem much right now, but they can grow into something strong and resilient that will be an invaluable support to you in your life.

If you are overcoming the effects of trauma in the past, or trying to find strength to manage current circumstances (or both), I'm on your side, and I know you can do it.

I am a certified accredited advanced practitioner and mentor with EFT International, practicing since 2005, and have been a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner since 2014, attending post graduate trainings over the years since then to deepen my understanding and expand my skills with nervous system healing.

In addition to private practice, I worked for 8 years at Edinburgh Rape Crisis, offering therapies to women using the service; with staff at the Scottish Government for 5 years, and for 5 years with massage with patients in a ward at the Royal Edinburgh Psychiatric Hospital.
