About Us

White Rowan Therapies is only minutes from Junction 11 of the M4.

My goal is to revitalise energy levels, relax the body and help deal with problems resulting from sports injury, chronic muscle pain, stress, poor posture and joint stiffness. The treatment can be for the full body or partial body (e.g. neck, back & shoulders).

Hot Stones Massage

For this treatment, I use smooth, pre-heated volcanic rocks as part of the massage. Smoothed slowly and gently over the body, the rocks warm and soothe the muscles, promoting deep relaxation and alleviating stress.

Chilled marble stones may also be used for a refreshing facial massage, especially pleasant in hot weather.

Swedish & Aromatherapy Massage

This technique is designed to soothe and relax, improve circulation, relieve stress, headaches, insomnia, tension and pain, and to aid relaxation and general wellbeing.

For a small extra charge, your treatment can include aromatherapy essential oils, distilled from plants known for their healing properties and blended with a carrier oil to enhance the effects of the massage.

Sports Injury, Remedial & Deep Tissue Massage

Remedial massage is deep tissue massage that efficiently treats injury or chronic pain.
Incorporating advanced massage techniques such as STR (soft tissue release), it removes blockages, damaged cells and scar tissue, speeding up recovery and encouraging complete healing.

Reiki Healing

This is a very gentle therapy, where the therapist acts as a channel for healing energy to flow into another individual via the hands to assist in relieving pain. Especially soothing and calming in pregnancy; for those suffering with chronic and long term illness; and in palliative care.

I am a member of the GRCCT (The General Regulatory Council For Complementary Therapies)which is a voluntary body for the regulation of complementary therapists in the UK.
