John Hill, Hands On Therapies
About UsPositive action delivering positive results.
I have been described as "exceptional" by international touring artists and am retained as consultant therapist to provide treatments for the Oxford Festival of Chamber Music's famous entourage of musicians (see http://www.ocmf.net/)
Whilst I do deal with athletes and competitively active people, I have many clients over the age of 80 who find my work, advice and support a valuable aid in improving their mobility, relieving their discomfort and motivating them to expect – and get – more from their lives.
Sports’ Therapy focuses on improving the condition of the body so that it can better respond to the demands made on it by one’s own style of living. Whether overactive or too sedentary, the skills of a Sports’ Therapist can deal with both acute (recent) and chronic (long term) conditions. Injuries can be treated, rehabilitation programmes planned and relief from long term pain delivered using these modes of treatments.
I am available to speak to companies, sports clubs (I am a professional rowing coach - see www.oxfordrowcoach.co.uk) or other social groups about any aspects of my work and I can provide suitable advice to enhance their own health and fitness.
